I’m very pleased to announce my dark fantasy poem, “The Mourning of Sam Lillow, The Gardener”, is now out in Nightmare!
Keen eyes might have noticed me adding another page to the menu for this occasion. I don’t often write poetry, and when I do, it’s more like journaling or reminiscing, but I’ve had the title and this idea in my head about abandoned castles and gardens for quite a while now, so I’m glad I decided to try my hand at a bit of speculative poetry! And I’m extremely thankful to Wendy Wagner, who decided to take a chance on this poem despite our initial formatting struggles.
There’s a bit more to Sam Lillow than meets the eye, but that’s a story for another time. 🙂
